Description: Electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with fresh quality units. I have sold hundreds of Technics Turntables over the last eight years and know these models VERY well. In my opinion, the D series of turntables (D1-D3) are like the Sherman tanks of turntables. They may not be the flashiest looking of tables according to some individuals, but you don't listen to flash. What the D2 is though, is one super reliable and great sounding table. NEW NON OEM COVERS ARE AVAILABLE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE STOCK COVERS AT NO EXTRA COST. I carry many of these turntables in stock, as well as other direct drive Technics models from the 78-82 period. Contact me for more photos, information, or just to chat! This particular table does some have some slight blemishes and minor staining. You really can't tell until you look closely. A new Ortofon Omega cart is installed with a new Omega stylus. I carry a decent amount of carts in stock, contact me for what I have available. All of my tables have been thoroughly gone through and work at 100%. Fresh lube is applied to all of the auto function bushings. I also oil the main motor bearings, clean the speed switch, and all of internal and external speed pots with DeoxIT DN5 (good stuff). Both the tonearm contacts and RCA jacks are polished for superior connectivity. I thoroughly check the tonearm bearings and djust and lube if necessary. The hinge springs are tightened, etc, etc....Any issues with the tables are addressed, and if the turntable does not operate correctly, it isn't sold. Please remember that this is a 42 + year old item. It will have some minor discoloration in spots along with some minor scuffs. The table comes complete with a cartridge and stylus. Contact me for what I have available. I double box for shipment and use a 22 x 22 x 18 outer box. Some assembly is required, and I strongly recommend you register at vinylengine so you can download an owners manual before the unit even arrives.
