It probably could run a quad or two stereo channels with 6L6GCs. if you really wanted to, you still could use a tube rectifier like 5Y3GT, use solid state bridge rectifier, then ground negative output, run plus output to the normal AC inputs of 5Y3, and you still get the voltage drop.you could power the 5Y3 with 6.3 and a resistor (ask if you want it free). The 12.6VCT could run your 12ax7 6L6s etc.
