Description: Good condition clean, tested and working vintage all black Nikon FG SLR camera with fast Nikon Series E 50mm f1.8 lens and lens cap! The body of the camera has a bit of brassing and scratches as expected of a vintage camera. Particularly on the the outside corner of the pentaprism. See photos. Viewfinder is clean and clear and with no prism corrosion scratches, fungus, balsam separation or haze. There is only very slight dust in the viewfinder that will not affect images. See photos. Lens is in great condition with no fungus, balsam separation or haze. There is the slightest dust that can barely be seen and won't affect image quality. See photos. Lightmeter consistently overexposes by 1 stop. Works accurately when exposure compensation dial is set to -1. Tested against a working Nikon F3 and Canon A-1. Timer really wants to work but flags at the last step to trigger the shutter. Consider it unusable. Otherwise camera is completely functional with all knobs and dials working and shutter speeds appear to be accurate. Warning sound for underexposure triggers when it should. Previous owner appears to have replaced the light seals and mirror dampener so I have left them as is as they are in good condition. Comes with a lens cap. Batteries not included.
