Description: VERY COOL OLD CERAMIC PIECE FROM HORTON CERAMICS OF EASTLAND, TEXAS. IT HAS, AS BOB ROSS WOULD SAY, A COUPLE HAPPY ACCIDENTS. WHAT LOOKS LIKE A CHIP ON THE SIDE, HAS ROUNDED EDGES LIKE IT WAS FIRED THAT WAY. I THINK THIS IS WHERE IT TOUCHED THE SIDE OF THE KILN OR ANOTHER PIECE. IT ALSO HAS A DARKER SPOT ON THE OTHER SIDE, LIKE A POTTERY BIRTH MARK :) IT IS UNIQUE TO SAY THE LEAST. THE INTERIOR STILL HAS A LITTLE GLUE WHERE THE LAST OWNER HAD GLUED DOWN SOME OF THAT GREEN FOAMY STUFF. SHOULD COME OUT WITH A LITTLE WORK. GOOD SIZED, ABOUT 12" LONG, 3" DEEP AND 5 1/2" WIDE. PROBABLY LATE 40s OR EARLY 50s. AS PICTURED. THIS ONE IS SUPER RARE! ONLY ONE ON EBAY, SO I CAN'T LET IT GO CHEAP, BUT IT IS WORTH THE MONEY :)
