The Beatles, Sullivan '64, Repro Bass Drum Logo, Adhesive Vinyl Decal Set

Description: In honor of the The Beatles' legendary, debut appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in February of 1964, I offer up my rendition of the iconic Beatles, 'drop-T' logo that adorned Ringo's Ludwig, OBP, Downbeat drum kit on that historic evening. Originally hand painted, along with the accompanying Ludwig Logo, the new resonant head was installed shortly before the show, and remained for subsequent television appearances, and live shows in the US.I have meticulously tried to recreate this logo set, in transfer form, as close to the original as possible. Designed specifically to fit accurately on a *20? drum head, this set can be applied to virtually any smooth, dry surface. This listing includes the main Beatles logo, as well as the accompanying Ludwig logo, and Remo crown, as pictured, (*drum head, and drums NOT INCLUDED). Isolated, die-cut vinyl letters, on transfer sheet, for accurate placement. Comes with application instructions, and BONUS graphic,application squeegee*. Decals will be safely rolled, and shipped in sturdy box to ensure safe delivery. I am a commercial, graphic artist, as well as a drummer, drum collector, and restorer, and have decided to try and combine my skills to reproduce some, harder to find, or otherwise unavailable logos for my fellow drum enthusiasts. I've sold quite a few of these with positive response. Decals work best on smooth, plastic heads, but also work on coated heads, (or any, relatively smooth surface for that matter) - recommend placing sheet of paper over decal after application, and burnish with credit card or similar, to make sure all edges are adhered.
