Description: the book of british poesy ancient and modern, published by tegg in London, 1851, 404pp,cr 8vo ( 6.5 x 5 x 1.25 inches approx. ) pretty tan leather binding with fleur de lys ( sort of ) and grape design round corners,all edges gilt , leather little edge rubbed but all good and sound, the frontispiece leaf has had an inscription label on it at some time which has been removed leaving a small hole in margin ( se image ) leaving it a little worn and is coming loose at top which is easily sorted, contents have a small bit of foxing and are in good condition, a good looking little volume
