Description: The CELATOR: Journal of Ancient and Medieval Coinage RARE SET / COLLECTION Description Up for sale is a RARE collection of The CELATOR: Journal of Ancient and Medieval Coinage. These were my dad's and I've held on to them for a while and tried to fill in the last few remaining issues over the past several years. Unfortunately, many of the older issues are REALLY rare, so this is as far as I got. Included are 267 (of the 299 issues ever published). I.e. the collection is 89.3% complete and contains many of the extra rare issues. I attached a little chart showing which issues are included (see the images) or see a text list below. If you have any trouble interpreting these, please don't hesitate to ask. I don't think anyone actually wants to look through 267 pictures, so I tried to just take a random sample of issues to give a realistic idea of what they look like. If you want any specific pictures or there is anything I can provide to help in the decision-making process, please don't hesitate to ask either. I have not gone through and graded all 267 of these individually, but I'm happy to check on any specific issues or answer any questions. They are honestly all over the spectrum in terms of condition, but if I had to rate the set as an average, I'd probably rate somewhere between G and G/VG. There may be a few in Fair condition, but I'd estimate that these amount to much less than 10%. The majority of these are truly middle of the road in condition. For the most part, the defects are just cover wear from handling/storage. Due to the size, this will need to be shipped in multiple boxes, which is more complex than the built in shipping calculator can compute, so please send me a message and I will be happy to lookup shipping costs for you and find you the most cost-effective option. I'm just a normal guy, not a business (i.e. don't have a physical storefront), but if you happen to be in the Austin, TX area, I'm happy to let you inspect them.
