Plot synopsis: Snowy Vermont is the backdrop as Sam Ireland, private cop, is presented with a secret to keep from a prying sister-in-law, and a domestic comedy to maintain. Evidences of murder lead Ireland to the local police, and hard-handed investigation of the household brings him his double killer. We have graded this book "Acceptable" due to the condition of the cover more than the interior. Cover is worn and creased, and the front flap is glued on a little precariously.
