Description: The Decisive Moment / Photography by Henri Cartier-Bresson / Published in New York by Simon and Schuster in collaboration with Editions Verve of Paris / 1952 First Edition. (But not stated in book). Ex-library book with attendant library markings. This volume is in "good" shape for a former library book. There are a few small reader markings in the introductory text (please see photos) and, as a library book, the volume has been re-bound. Some kid (?) has scribbled in pencil on one of the last blank pages (see photo). All the photographs seem to be in good shape, with no detriments, and the spine is solid (no loose pages). This book in first edition form costs a ton of money, it's iconic in the history of street photography, and an opportunity to own it might be here via a much cheaper ex-library item. As a former photographer, I propose to surrender this from my personal collection with some pain.
