Description: THE EARLY POEMS OF HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW ANTIQUE 1893PUBLISHED : 1893 Leather Hardcover This antique book is in rather poor condition with plenty of wear/tattering: leather cover has plant leave branch design with gold gilt, the cloth spine is peeling/torn from top/head cap down about 3 inches and could use repair, joints are rather loose with mesh cloth showing at front and back board, remnants of old cellophane tape in groove of copyright/ contents page, one of the content pages is torn almost in half, back two blank pages with free end paper are completely loose from binding, gold gilt edges are nice, the leather cover feels nice in the hands. Overall, it is still a readable copy but could be enjoyed much more with repairs. Please make sure you are ok with the described condition prior to purchasing.
