Description: Offered here are two bound volumes and one loose paper-bound issue of "The Eclectic Magazine: Foreign Literature, Science and Art". The Eclectic Magazine was created in 1844 and was published in New York from that year until 1898. While it is described as covering "foreign literature", etc., the magazine primarily printed British articles. The loose issue is Volume 5, No. 6 (1867). One bound volume is Volume X, Nos. 2-6 (1869). The second bound volume is Volume XI, Nos. 1, 5 & 6 (1870). The dimensions of the volumes are: height 9 1/2 inches; width 6 1/2 inches. These volumes are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Please read the condition description carefully and review the photographs. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. I do my best to accurately describe the items being sold, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
