Description: Up for sale is The Gentleman's Magazine 1749. Engravings and maps present. Published London by Edward Cave. All engravings and maps and foldouts seem to be present So I went through this and the engravings and illustrations all seem to be here but do not match up with where the title page says they should be placed.. . All foldouts etc.. are here but they do in no way correspond to the pages they are said at front to be. Very rare piece with great engravings and fold outs . Book measures approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches and foldout engravings vary in size. Overall in good condition with previous owner book plates and writing. Wear to the boards, light browning and other dings here and there. If you are looking for something specific let me know.
