Description: Description The Legacy of Bruno Walter Tahra 6 CD Brahms Mahler Mozart Bruckner JAPANProduct introduction Chosen by Kouyoshi Uno Walter's "masterpiece" CD by Tara master. I was reproduced by the superior technique of French Tara company, A live performance of Bruno Walter's heyday. 6 titles highly acclaimed by Koyoshi Uno Remastered at once and released as a 6CD project! Bruno Walter's "masterpiece" CD selected by Koyoshi Uno from French Tara CDs! Released from King Records in 2012 as the "Bruno Walter Supreme Legacy (supervised by Koyoshi Uno)" series (10 CDs in total). However, after that, Tara ceased its activities, and imported discs were no longer available. This time, 6 titles have been selected and released as 6 CDs by the latest remastering in 2018 at King Sekiguchidai Studio. Please enjoy the full-ripe live of Walter's heyday, with further improved sound quality. Booklet commentary by Koyoshi Uno and Naoya Hirabayashi. A translation of the lyrics is also provided. [CD1] The famous Walter Berlin homecoming performance. It was the only concert in Germany since the Nazis chased him out in 1932, and it was the only live performance with BPO after the war. "[Brahms] is a conductor who naturally rides on BPO. It is a fully mature performance that you can enjoy without resistance, and of course Walter's unique fantastic and romantic songs are enough." (Kouyoshi Uno) [CD2] At the Concertgebouw just after the war, where the shadow of Mengelberg remains, Walter, Mahler's best disciple, plays "Giant"! Completely restored from the master tape owned by the Dutch Broadcasting Corporation (recorded without cuts from the applause before the start, the interval between movements, and the applause after the end). [CD3] "("Haffner") is even more amazing than the next day's studio recording. Fluctuations in tempo, powerful horn performance, this is anti-rococo Mozart." (Kouyoshi Uno) [CD4] Walter Hisei's spectacular performance with a strange sense of urgency and enthusiasm. "This is the most fascinating of Bruckner's symphonies that Walter has recorded. Here is Bruckner, the richest song of all time, flowing like a flood." (Kouyoshi Uno) [CD5] "This CD was Walter's '4th' throne until the appearance of the live recording in Vienna in November 1955. The movement lets you play in the world of fairy tales, and the second movement has a particularly strong taste, with sharp tones and accents that are exactly what the avant-garde was at the time it was composed." (Kouyoshi Uno) [CD6] In the 1950s, when Walter made a guest appearance in Rome, his energetic performance before withering. In particular, Beethoven's incandescent performance is different from studio recording. It is truly valuable as the only live sound source of Walter's "Beto 7". "There is a rich atmosphere in which music is being created right now, which is unique to live performances."
