Description: Up for sale in this listing is a beautiful, original, framed/matter window card to the Val Lewton horror classic, The Leopard Man (1943), starring Dennis O’Keefe, Margo, and Jean Brooks. It was based on a novel by Cornell Woolrich and directed by the legendary Jacques Tourner (Cat People, Out of the Past, Curse of the Demon). This is an original movie poster, not a reissue or reproduction. It was issued to promote the film at the time of its original release. It’s hung on my wall for roughly 25 years now, and it’s time to find it a new home. The framed/matted poster measures approximately 19 x 23.5” in total with the window card itself measuring approximately 13.5” x18.” While inspecting/photographing the poster for this listing, I noticed some scuffing on the frame that I note in the photographs. However the piece still presents very well, and the poster features a design that’s quite similar to the one depicted on the better-known one sheet, but uses a two-color scheme that to my eye is much cooler! Regarding the shipping fees, I recognize that they’re a little steep, but this is what I’ve calculated my actual costs to be in order to pack/ship the piece safely, with full insurance coverage.
