The only writing is inside the front cover were the name of the former owner and the former owners bookplate can be seen. Aside from that, there appear to be no other marks in the book. Front and backboard, spine and binding, and both front and back hinges are in very good working order. Pages bound tightly and turn easily. Some slight yellowing around the edges but generally good condition. Profusely illustrated with black and white etchings. Questions are welcome.
