Description: This is Volume IV only of "The Novels of Sir Walter Scott - New Edition in Five Volumes, with Notes Historical and Illustrative," published in Paris by A. and W. Galignani and Co. The novels included are Peveril of the Peak, St. Ronan's Well, Redgauntlet, and Tales of the Crusaders. The book is in acceptable condition, with heavy wear to the leather and boards, a bit of fraying at the spine top. Many pages have foxing, some heavy. There are a few small pencil marks on the ffep.
