Description: Super-rare piece of exploitation Americana, a souvenir program for the 1951 motion picture The Prince of Peace. Also released as The Lawton Story, with additional footage starring the adorable six-year old Ginger Prince, The Prince of Peace is a faithful recording of the famous Passion Play performed each year in Lawton, Oklahoma. This beautiful movie program book, sold as a premium at film showings, features 34 big pages packed with all sorts of fun stuff, including a huge synopsis by Mildred A. Horn, and dozens of hand-tinted photographs. Best of all, there is a who’s who of the film personnel and cast, featuring pictures and short bios of such exploitation film luminaries as Kroger Babb (producer), Mildred A. Horn (scenarist), Harold Daniels (co-director), William Beaudine (co-director), and of course, the lovely Ginger Prince. There is even a full-page ad for a recording of the film's songs, available through Babb’s own Hallmark Productions.
