Description: "THE ROLLS-ROYCE REVIEW" - 1984 - ONLY TWO ISSUES PUBLISHED - RARE! In 1984 David King (New York), a very important collector of Rolls-Royce and Bentley books and literature, initiated the publication of "The Rolls-Royce Review", published "with the interests of the true collector" of rare examples of such literature, and based on King's extensive Archives. This effort was, unfortunately, very short-lived, with only two issues published, in type-written format, and sized 8.5" x 5.6". Issue number 1 contained 8 pages and issue number 2 entailed 16 pages. The Tables of Contents focused on Rolls-Royce and Bentley literature dealing with rather arcane topics, such as "The Chauffuer's Handbook", "Bookplates", "R-R Armoured Cars", "Poetry in Motion", "Postcard Collecting", and "Motoring in Foreign Lands". This eBay offering is thus for the very serious collector of Rolls-Royce and Bentley literature. I doubt that very few copies of "The Rolls-Royce Review" were originally published and perhaps a handful of copies survive. I am not a dealer but rather an individual trying to reduce many decades of accumulations in my shelves of literature and books.
