The poster is A2 size and has been custom framed in hardwood and sprayed so the frame colour can easily be changed. ABOUT THE SCALA CINEMA CLUB In Britain’s post-punk Thatcher years, the infamous and legendary Scala cinema showed a diverse range of films, from high art to cult classics, sexploitation, horror, Kung-Fu and LGBTQIA+. Nudging boundaries of convention, it became an inspiration for future famous creatives. The Scala Cinema Club produced a monthly programme which included informative double-sided posters and were a trademark innovation from the wonderful independent cinema. Every film/day of the month has a still or artwork in colour on the front with showing times and dates, and the black and white reverse organised into days of the week as screened has selected stills, with prudent copy and reviews of every film screened. A true vintage work of Art.
