Description: THE SEA OFFICER by Showell Styles Published by The macmillan Company in 1962 - First Edition - First Printing This is a great historical novel of adventure set in the 18th century based upon the true story of the life of Edward Pellew, Vice Admiral of England. The book is in good to very good condition. The cover is fairly clean with minor shelf wear including discoloring, fading, and scuffing. The spine is tight and the pages are clear and easily readable with minor fading. The dustjacket is unclipped with minor chipping and small tears and is in good to very good condition; it is now in a plastic cover. The book is apparently a former library book although the stickers and pockets, etc, have been removed leaving the tape marks; there is a number stamped on the title page. See photographs. This is a wonderful book, and it would be an excellant addition to anyone's book collection. The book is about 6" x 8-1/2" x 1", 272 pages, and about 1-2 lbs.+/- with packaging. (051513-61)
