He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. and after hurricane Katrina he and his wife Shannon of 14 years, moved to Slidell, LA. He enjoys playing music and also has been involved with songwriting and poetry throughout his life. Although he created the ide of the Watermelon Fairies in 1998, it was not until he had his son, Brayden, when he began to think more fully about developing the idea into a book. The concepts of sharing, caring, family, and friends play a major role in the development of children He feels these concepts can be developed and hopefully instilled in children from an early age.
