The above text is an exerpt of the vintage 1989 first edition paperback titled "The Sniper" by Jack Cannon. The Sniper originally was published in 1974 and is a thriller novel by American author Nelson DeMille. It was DeMille's first published novel. The Sniper introduces character NYPD Sergeant, Joe Ryker. Like the other books in the Joe Ryker series, it was re-published in 1989 with the author as "Jack Cannon." The book has a stain on the bottom of the text block that is prominent but does not distract from the actual text of the book. The cover has some wear from use and handling. The spine only has one evident crease and is in solid shape. The text block itself has no writing except for a name written inside the front cover. With the stain and cover issues the book would be minimum good to very good condition. See photos of the defects as well as some pages showing their condition.
