Description: For sale is a 6" square tile titled The Country Art Of China from The Srednick Collection. This tile features hand painted Chinese naive art of a village scene celebrating a festival, perhaps New Year. Figures are shown with lanterns and plants with simple houses framed by bamboo. This piece is in very good condition with no damage and some light wear on the reverse. Some paints, mostly darker colors, have a slight texture compared to other paints and high gloss tile. There is old reside of oval sticker on the back. Marked in black with title and for The Srednick Collection. Approximate Measurements6" square1/16" thick
