Not a dictionary but does discuss the origin, meaning and history of many Lancashire names and does consider much genealogical evidence. Book is an ex-reference library copy in good condition with the usual inkstamps and labels. There is surface damage to front endpaper where labels removed and a little wear to the edges of the last few pages. The jacket has some fading, edgewear, and some surface damage to the bottom of the spine where labels removed.
