Description: The Sword of the Lictor by Gene Wolfe. Edition: Book Club Edition. Gutter Code M47, which I think refers to a Printing date of November 1982. Dust Jacket: Unclipped (no price on BCE Jackets). There are some small closed tears and chips along the top and bottom of the Jacket. Very slight rubbing and creasing in a few spots. In addition, there is some transfer of color from the book to the reverse side of the jacket. Binding: Hardcover with three quarter blue boards and red spine. Text on spine is black. Binding is tight, with a slight tilt forward (top board 1-2mm). Exterior: Looks new. No bumping or fading. Only what I would consider shelf wear. Interior: Only defect I could find is two small spots (about 1mm each) on the rear inside cover. No other marks or writing of any kind. Might never have been read.
