The Ultimate! Vintage BORSALINO ladies VELOUR PILL BOX HAT size #23 (7 1/4")

Description: Right from a very WELL TO DO old ASHLAND, OHIO Estate and this lady had the VERY BEST of that time period. I remember years ago shopping at LAZARUS (Downtown Coumbus, Ohio) with my Mom and the trip had to include --- THE FRENCH ROOM ---Yes, indeed ...after of course, stopping at MONTALDO'S.... Offering at this time and I am NOT expertise enough in Ladies Hats to know exactly what the foundation is ... appears to be a "furry velour" and perhaps you ladies have the true ID for the name. BLACK, SOFT and FURRY LIKE to me. The hat was made by THE BEST at the time, imported EXCLUSIVELY from Italy by the --- BORSALINO --- Design Studio. The hat has been stored in the ORIGINAL FRENCH ROOM LAZARUS HAT BOX which is in really nice condition. (See photos.) She obviously saved this one for special occasions. I SEE NO CALLS! Note the FANTASTIC FULL FORM LABEL as well. Marked with the European Size number #23 which is supposed to be size 7 1/4" ... you girls will know. The trip to the FRENCH ROOM from Ashland, OHIO at the time, certainly was an All Day Fun trip for the ladies ....of course they were the Ladies with Lots of $$$$ Money! 🤑 Note on eBay selling today .... this Company (Ladies & Men's Hats) has many currently made Hats ...and most all are still rather High Priced.
