There are some small marks to cover and a fair amount of wear at the spine. The half title page has a small fold at the top corner and some writing from the previous owner, name and place, and a small hole at top. Theosophical book depo sticker to bottom of full title page. Chattopadhyaya.Theosophical Publishing Society, London 1896.98 Pages.This Volume Could have been previously Independently but professional rebound at some stage, as this title was possibly not printed in a hardcover version from publisher. The cover of this volume has a fair amount of rubbing to the cover face, with patches of discoloration to cloth binding, and some darkening at the spine. Bumped lower corners. And some rubbing to board edges. Some mild smudge marks to past downs and end papers with rear end paper containing some penciled marks, there is also faintly penciled Title to the for edge, as well as some spotting to edges predominantly to and bottom edge. The half title page and adjacent page has some writing at top. The rest of the text block is clean throughout. Both of these have some moderate browning and some foxing throughout. They are approx 19.0 cm X 9.5cm. Extremely Scarce First Edition Set of The Upanishads. Volume I being Stiff Card Bound, Vol II being Hardbound.
