Description: This is a first-generation REPRODUCTION of an original script from THE WALTONS from 1981. The original was used by director Walt Gilmore who worked on 27 episodes of the beloved series. In addition to the script (which includes a lot of Gilmore’s notes), I’m including copies of five pages of song lyrics (it was a very musical episode), and six pages of behind-the-scenes documents. In the episode titled “The Gold Watch,” Stanley Perkins (William Schallert) reappears in Rose's life, but he seems to be hiding a somber secret. Jason hires a country singer to help business at the inn, but he's more interested in Toni than in performing. The episode features Jon Walmsley acting and singing with his real-life wife Lisa Hartman. The couple were married by Ralph Waite (aka John Walton) while Michael Learned (Olivia Walton) lent her house for the reception. This episode was the first of nine appearances by Hartman as her character ended up marrying Jason. She also appeared in the three reunion movies and Walmsley and Hartman are still married today. The script’s cover has been copied in color and a sheet of acetate is included for protection and for a stunning appearance (to be honest, it looks better than the original). Pages are printed on one side. Great care has been taken to make this a piece that a collector will be proud to own and show off. Sorry, but the photos are NOT included (I don't have any printed copies). The “TV Archives” watermark does not appear on the script copy that you will receive.
