Eight or more b/w page plate illustrations besides numerous b/w vignette illustrations with entries. Green cloth binding has stamped illustration of young men, one looking at a manuscript, another looking through a spy glass. Stamped decoration at the spine. 7" x 9" x 2." Fair condition. Pencil writing of past owner's name at endpapers and a private library plate at front endpaper. Pages tanned. Wear at binding edges, more at extremities. Foxing spots and faded areas of cloth to binding. Decoration at spine has lost its ink. Thanks for looking!
