It was produced especially for the retailer Higgins & Seitter of New York. The plate measures 8 3/8 inches in diameter. The plate is molded to hold 5 shells and a center salt dip. The border is scalloped and crimped. The sea creatures are transfer designs that are hand colored. It is rich and vibrant with seaweed and shells in a delightful composition.
