Half Vellum - Right half of the front cover has an oval within which is a pictorial multicolored book appropriate picture ( in this case the wolf has a little piggy up an apple tree) . Left half has a line drawn decoration with gilt title and Altemus Wee Book Series in gilt. Book is an original 1904.The book measures 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" X 1/2" . There are 96 pages. The only writing in the book is the owner's name and address and the date of 1908. No rips, tears or smells. Pages are all intact and binding is tight. Illustrations (40) hand drawn by John Rea Neill.The first 27 pages are about the Piggy's building their homes and eliminating the wolf. Pages 33 through 47 are entitiled "Precocious Piggy and tells of the piggy encounter with the butcher. Pages 51 through 94 are entitled "Brave Little Tailor" and tells how the Tailor became a King.Illustrations are beautiful.
