Description: Three Plays by Brieux. With a Preface by Bernard Shaw. The English Versions by Mrs. Bernard Shaw, St. John Hankin and John Pollock.(London: A.C. Fifield, 1911) Good condition for this beige cloth-covered, 321-page antique book. No edition stated. The binding is a bit loose, but there are no cracks at the hinges and all pages are secure. Top edge is gilt, others rough-cut. Portrait frontispiece with tissue. Front and back free endpapers are discolored. Perhaps the most interesting thing about this book is the tiny bookshop sticker attached to the front board: "The International Suffrage Shop". A website can be found about the shop, opened in 1911. It was described as "The only feminist bookshop."
