I have found that the brackets bang against each other, causing unnecessary dings and nicks. This set has a few of these minor nicks and dings from when it shipped to me. They are minor - but I wanted to be upfront and mention. I have added multiple pics to this listing, showing the scratches. The bolts are fine, they are still sealed in the Thule packaging. You could quickly and easily touch these up with a silver permanent marker or paint, if it really matters to you.
