His latest outing ‘Cityscapes’ on Lobster Theremin delves deep into his core sound and influences, with head high jungle breaks alongside chest rattling bass and 2-step laden grooves.The A-side glides from the classic glacial synths and breaks on title track ‘Cityscapes’ to the euphoric pitched up techno-hardcore of ‘Sequence 2’. Flipping over and straight into the minor scale 80’s soundtrack arpeggiations of ‘Make It Real’, loaded up with a whole ton of rave tropes, fills and melodic flourishes. Rounding out the EP is the 4/4 jungle of ‘(I Can) Feel It’, a light drifting groove layered over with undulating kicks and ethereal 90’s synth.
