Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Art Glass paperweight made by Tom Philabaum, signed and dated 1987. This attractive paperweight has an iridescent blue cactus shaped form in the center with a controlled bubble on top surrounded by free-form elongated bubbles. Each of the elongated bubbled is surrounded with an iridescent film visible through the exterior glass. Marked on the base "Tom Philabaum, 1987". Tom Philabaum opened his first glass studio in Arizona in 1985 so this paperweight is an early production. Tom now has a Glass Studio in Tucson where he not only showcases his own work but also that of other local glass artists. Measures 2 1/2" tall with a 3" overall width. Weighs 1.4 pounds. This nice paperweight is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
