Description: An absolute Masterpiece by Award Winning Navajo Silversmith TOMMY JACKSON. This stunning Cuff Bracelet is handcrafted using his signature Heavy Gauge Sterling Silver Cuff Base, this one with additional hand tooled accent work. The Base is Channel Inlaid with Hand Cut Stones of Spiny Oyster and Lapis Lazuli and features a Rare large Custom Oval Cut Lapis Lazuli Centerstone Riser set in a hand notched bezel. The Cuff is Authenticated by the “Jackson” stamped signature on the back side (see photos). The cuff measures 5 ½” end to end with a 1 1/8” opening = 6 5/8” The cuff measures 2 1/8” wide at the center The Oval Lapis Lazuli setting measures 1 5/8” x 1 ¼” This is a heavy cuff with a weight of 167 grams The cuff is in nice pre-owned condition (As Seen in Photos) Tommy Jackson was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 20, 1958 but grew up in the heart of Navajo land in Chinle, Arizona.. A husband, father, and grandfather, Tommy is also a world-renowned gold and silversmith, his award-winning pieces on exhibit in museums and treasured in collections around the world. As a premier Navajo Silversmith he is counted amongst those few known as “The Supersmiths.” Jackson started silversmithing in 1973 and by 1988 he was winning prestigious awards, and has continued winning nearly every year since at the big shows, including Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum. He uses heavy-gauge silver and is known for integrating traditional Navajo designs with a modern flair, working with gold and silver and a variety of precious and semi-precious stones.
