Description: Nice framed photo of Secretariat by the great equine photographer Tony Leonard. This was taken on November 11, 1973 as Secretariat arrived at Lexington to start his stud career. This is matted and in a beautifully ornate frame that measures about 22"x28". Please note - I am not sure whether the signature is a live signature or was just part of the photo when this was reproduced. I also don't know if this was printed around 1973 or is more modern. I have a lot of live signed Tony Leonard items, and my best guess is that this is NOT live signed, but I could be wrong. This might be a print made from an image that was already signed by Leonard. So if you are looking for a guaranteed authentic live signature, this is not for you. But it's still an awesome photo that has been professionally framed in a great frame that must have cost quite a bit. The visible part of the photo itself measures 14"x20". This is quite heavy so shipping will be $24.95. Please review the photos and use the magnify feature to review the condition. Please see our other auctions for an extensive collection of historic horse racing programs, Daily Racing Forms, trophies and memorabilia featuring horses like Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Dr. Fager, Damascus, Round Table, Dan Patch, Buckpasser, Kelso and other champions and Kentucky Derby winners. We will be selling off most of our collection over the next couple months.
