Description: This 400mm Japanese temagari nokogiri (hand bent saw) is a handmade, special order, Tosa handsaw by Muramoto Hakoto. It is made for cutting logs and timber. It was hand forged in the Kochi prefecture (formerly the Tosa province) where forestry products, swords, kitchen cutlery and carpentry tools have been hand forged (handmade) for centuries. Tosa blacksmiths are widely known for their cutlery and forestry tools. The many large teeth will crosscut and rip logs and lumber with ease. It is a beautiful heavy duty saw. Handle included.
