Description: This is a matted antique engraving from HARPER'S BAZAR, an illustrated newspaper published in 1886. The prints in this series are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more enduring than the newspaper material we use today. TITLE: TOWER OF BABEL, GARDEN OF THE GODS (See pictures for smaller text) ARTIST: REDDING, SIGNED IN PLATE CONDITION: EXCELLENT -- The prints in this series are clear, clean and bright with wide margins -- no foxing or tears, excellent definition and nice clean, sharp lines. This print is about 140 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned newspaper and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.The visible part of the print, including the white border is 10" x 15". Matted the print measures 16" x 20".
