Our signature grill has a cooking surface of 30" x 20" making it a perfect fit for any backyard. Each unit comes with four stainless steel black hooks for your cooking tools, fire poker, and two restaurant grade white cutting boards.Our grill grates are the highest quality stainless steel expanded to ensure you will never cook on a rusty grill grate. Most others use regular expanded metal for their grill grates because it is half the price however it is sure to rust.Our structures are welded and made out of 10 gauge hot rolled carbon steel; baked with two coats of high temperature baked powder. In lieu of fire brick, we have a stainless drop in fire box! Growing up on the Central Coast (Santa Maria), my father used to make these grills and raffle them off to pay for our accommodations while participating in traveling sports. This is a craft that is near and dear to my heart and I feel grateful that I can carry on the craft by sharing the history with others.These grills are designed to cook over hard wood (preferably Red or White Oak) however charcoal can be utilized as well. The crank allows you to adjust the cooking surface height in order to manage the temperature of your meat. This unique style of cooking was brought to the Central Coast of California 200 years ago and has been toted as the pride of California culinary.
