This collaboration was realized with the hope that visitors to the Chichu Art Museum will take the notebook as a tool for reflection, to write down the experience of viewing the artworks and their own thoughts as they reflect on them. The black leather cover of the TRAVELER'S notebook is engraved with the Chichu Art Museum logo designed by Shin Sobue.The refills inside have a simple gray cover with the names and logos of Claude Monet, James Turrell, Walter de Maria, and Tadao Ando simply letterpressed on the cover.The door page features a white map of Naoshima, Teshima, and Inujima, where Benesse Art Site Naoshima is located.
