Often with the standard hidden shackle lock, the tabs on the door are too wide or too spread apart, so Trimax made the THPXL almost 1/4" thicker to allow for the pocket to be 1/4" deeper. Then they enlarged the height of the pocket from 5/8" to 13/16". So far, we haven't found a door hasp this lock won't fit.In addition, being rekeyable, having a key that is easy to duplicate, and having a great price makes this is a great value in a high-security lock.Uses a flat key (American Lock style).
