Description: This set was part of a Trimble UX5 mapping solution. The ACCSSES software here is specifically designed for AERIAL IMAGING as you can tell from the name (ACCSSES FOR AERIAL IMAGING). The program is insanely so powerful. Basically, the photos shot by the aircraft are sent directly to your ACCSSES FOR AERIAL IMAGING on your Yuma 2 thanks to the Trimble UX modem which is simply plugged (USB) to the Yuma 2. Since all the photos are geotagged, the building of your map starts right on the field while you are still shooting photos. The Trimble UX modem is missing the antenna which costs only a few buks on eBay. It is 2.4 GHZ straight or multidirectional antenna (TNC). The tablet has also the Trimble Installation Manager software installed. This is a very useful program for other tasks related controller, GPS/GNSS receiver, optical and scanning instruments The GPS works great. An astonishing camera with VGA 640 X 480; 1600 X 1200 and 2592 x1944 resolution which shoots geotagged photos. Actually, the coordinates display on the screen at the time you take the photo. The video footage is great as well. Like I mentioned earlier, this set was part of a system. The aircraft (Trimble UX5), the launcher and some other stuffs were sold. This tablet and its UX modem was not initially for sale until now. For those out there wondering if this is compatible with mapping drones other than the Trimble UX5, I will say I do not know. One thing seems logical, it all comes down to the protocol which allows the drone and the tablet controller to talk to each other via the UX modem. I do belive, if you upload your aerial photos, you should be able to treat them through the ACCSSES FOR AERIAL IMAGING in your mapping project; much better with geotagged aerial photos. This is a hard to find item. I charged these batteries (extended batteries) the last time 3 or 4 months ago and stored the device. I was convinced that it would not turn on. Not only it turned on, but I did not even need to charge it, and I have been working with it for hours now for all the test and shooting for this posting. The batteries are new, but holding a charge for 4 months blew my mind. I can split the set and sell the tablet apart and the UX modem apart as well if any buyer wants one or the other.
