The back of the brooch has a 1 3/4" locking pin. Symbolism of the Triple Hare This is an ancient motif going back thousands of years and used by many world cultures. The symbol appears in sacred sites from the Middle and Far East, to the churches of Devon, England (known locally as 'Tinners' Rabbits').
