This book shows moderate signs of this trend through rub soil on the back. End paper is splitting in back leaving hinges visible. This book is in acceptable condition. There are signs of age or wear through cover/spine fading, rub soil, spine/cover edge/corner rub, corner push, spine upper/lower edge rub/push, page edge rub, page edge soil/age spotting, edge nicks/bumps/denting, and yellowing/tanning/browning of pages. Wear at all corners...the spine corners have beginning splits...the longest split is about 3/16". Age discoloration/age spotting/age staining along cover edges. Age spotting within pages. Some page corner folds/creasing/dog eared corners. Edges have some small dents. End paper is splitting in back...Hinges are visible for about the upper 2 1/2". Old or original price sticker on the front cover. Cover edges have notable wear/rub. Spine roll. The front cover lower edge has a notable dent.
