Truck Adapter Kit for Rivarossi 85ft Heavy-Weight Coachs w/ solder tabss

Description: Use a TA-R1Fx kit to easily install Walther’s 3-axle passenger car trucks, and Kadee #451 body-mounted couplers on Rivarossi 85ft (1920’s) Heavy-Weight Coach Passenger cars. (These kits are intended for experienced modelers.) The TA-R1Fx includes; 2ea R1 Truck Adapters 2ea F coupler mounting pads, 2ea S4TP06SB black truck screws. 4ea Brass solder tabs for attaching wires to your Walthers Trucks This kit is different from the IHC Heavy-Weight Pullman due to the diaphragms on the IHC cars. The ‘F’ coupler mounting pad has a pilot hole for installation of the Kadee #451 wide-swing coupler. After the parts are securely glued in position , the hole in the ‘R1’ Truck Adapter and the ‘F’ coupler pad need to be drilled through into the recipient car and the both the TA and coupler pad need to be threaded with the appropriate tap. The R1 Truck Adapter offset is oriented towards the coupler Please note: Walther’s trucks and Kadee couplers are not included with Truck Adapter KITs. An illustrated destruction sheet is included.
