TWA - 1951 Flight Crew US Air Atlas Book, 2 Ticket Jackets, Currency/Time Chart

Description: For sale are a few rare finds! It's not only all from TWA, the airline with the first passenger service from coast to coast, but it has the Flight Crew Air Atlas from 1951!! (This wasn't for passenger use!) This book is in great shape considering the age.The binding is intact, and no pages are falling out. There are red colored route maps throughout, as you can see from the picture samples. The book also gives paragraph descriptions of cities it's going to, as well as surrounding areas. It's fun to read how each city had developed up to that point. Also inside the book are aerial shots of many landmarks from airplanes, some the first of its kind. There weren't any drones back in 1951 to take those pics. This is a true piece of history! Included with the book are 2 genuine, vintage ticket jackets as well as a World Time Chart finder (on one side) and a World Currency Converter (on the other).
