Description: For bid is an original pair of February 1944 photographs of a woman posing at the MIAMI AQUARIUM with two dioramas! First photo shows the woman with a diorama of King Triton or a similar Ocean king with a crown and staff. Looks related to Mardi Gras or similar. He's sitting on a throne with a saff of some kind. Two sea horses and a crest are above. Woman is sitting at the right. Second photo shows her seated in front of a diorama of two people relaxing on the beach at Miami. Grandpa is snoozing while grndma is under the shade of a palm tree, knitting. Woman has a "Daily" newspaper in this one. You can read the words "Blizzard" and Zero". Newspaper may actually be part of the diorama... I am not sure. These are terrific pieces of Miami history. Photos were developed in West Palm Beach at "McClellan Photo" on February 19, 1944. Each one has a little writing in blue fountain pen ink on the back...
