Description: This is a nice Real Photo Postcard of the Heavy Cruiser "USS SALT LAKE CITY CA-25" This Ship was Commissioned 11 December, 1929, and decommissioned 29 August, 1946. This Ship took part in more Combat engagements in the Pacific than any other ship. She received 11 Battle Stars. Her fate was to be sunk as a target 25 May,1948 off the California coast. This is an Estate found Postcard, and Appears to be unposted, as seen in the photos. Some scuffing and scratches may be present, so look at the photos carefully.
