This is a Sensational, Unusual and Super-Ornate and High-Quality Antique circa 1890’s Masonic Knights Templar Silver and Enamel Sword! The Sword was obviously well cared for. Castings are all first-rate. They sparkle like magic. The front of the Two-Sided Pommel has a Skull and Bones symbolizing Mankind’s Mortality. The reverse has the Brazen Serpent Encircling Cross. Rich in Symbolism, also featured are the Medieval Cross in Crown, Paschal Lamb, Emperor Constantine’s Miraculous Vision, and Christian Pilgrim etc. Each Ornate Scabbard Mount has unique decorative designs on backside, including a Warrior’s Suit of Arms. The two-sided Grip has Masterful Engraved designs. Rococo etchings are also on the scabbard surface. The Fanciful Hand-Guard is Outstanding. The silvery blade has swirling Rococo designs and a depiction of the Templar Battle in Ancient Acre. The overall Rococo style is fabulous. The sword is virtually Mirror-Bright. It is in very good vintage condition with only a few barely noticeable small areas of age wear. The Sword in its Scabbard measures approximately 38 ½ inches. Alone the Sword is 37 ½ inches.
